The European Sustainable Development Week 2023 is an event aimed at promoting knowledge exchange and sharing best practices in sustainable development according to the UN goals. As part of this week, Liepāja RAS will talk about their created point of exchange for goods called “Krāmu kambars” and explain how a longer lifespan of goods contributes to environmental conservation. Liepāja RAS will also organize excursions during the European Sustainable Development Week, where people will learn about waste management, what happens to items when they are discarded, and how to live more environmentally friendly and resource-efficient lives. The excursions will conclude with a visit to the Museum of Undervalued Things, where interesting items that people have thrown away but were saved by landfill workers from destruction will be showcased for others to see. Participants will also have access to games during the event.

Eiropas Ilgtspējīgas attīstības nedēļa 2023 ir notikums ar mērķi veicināt zināšanu apmaiņu, dalīšanos ar labas prakses piemēriem ilgtspējas attīstības veicināšanā atbilstoši ANO mērķiem. Līdz ar to Liepājas RAS pastāstīs par pašu radīto mantu apmaiņas punktu “Krāmu kambars”, pastāstīs kā mantu ilgāks dzīves cikls saudzē vidi.

Eiropas Ilgtspējīgas attīstības nedēļas ietvaros Liepājas RAS organizēs ekskursijas, kuru laikā cilvēkiem tiks stāstīts par atkritumu apsaimniekošanu, kas notiek ar lietām, kad tās tiek izmestas, kā pašiem dzīvot videi draudzīgāk un taupīt resursus.

Ekskursijas nobeigumā tiks arī aplūkots Nenovērtēto lietu muzejs, kur nonāk interesantas lietas, kuras cilvēki ir izmetuši, bet atkritumu poligona darbinieki paglābuši no iznīcības, lai tās varētu aplūkot arī citi cilvēki. Pasākuma ietvaros dalībniekiem būs pieejamas spēles.
