In Maubeuge, the social landlord Promocil is carrying out the project to transform with the residents the 3000m² courtyard of a city center residence of 250 housing units into a shared nourishing, contemplative and forest garden. this social and solidarity economy project integrates numerous associations, inclusion, culture and scientific mediation. the action of September 26 is the first of the workshops to come: it includes an exhibition raising awareness of the climate and the causes of its change, with the presentation of the solution “planting a Miyawaki micro-forest”; This event is aimed at tenants and users of the residence (more than 500 people) and children attending the nearby middle and primary schools (5 classes – around 120 students). Interspersed with several workshops and events in fall, winter and spring, the awareness cycle will be marked by planting by students and residents in April 2024.

Ce projet d'économie sociale et solidaire intègre de nombreuses associations, d'inclusion, de culture et de médiation scientifique. L’action du 26 septembre est la première des ateliers à venir : elle comprend une exposition de sensibilisation au climat et aux causes de son changement, avec la présentation de la solution "planter une micro-forêt Miyawaki" ; cet évènement s'adresse aux locataires et usagers de la résidence (plus de 500 personnes) et aux enfants scolarisés dans le collège et l'école primaire tous proches (5 classes - environ 120 élèves). Jalonnés de plusieurs ateliers et évènements en automne, hiver et printemps, le cycle de sensibilisation sera marqué de la plantation par les élèves et résidents en avril 2024.
