For Ireland’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week, The Sustainability Team at the University of Galway and the Climate Ambassador Program will host a guided biodiversity & heritage walk along the river Corrib.

We will start at The University of Galway, walking along the riverbank, taking in the sights and sounds of this scenic protected landscape, while learning about the local flora and fauna from biodiversity expert Dr Caitríona Carlin. We will hear stories about the historic Menlo Castle from PhD candidate and Climate Ambassador Hannah Aris.

Walk, talk and learn sustainable stories! After, we will enjoy a complimentary sustainable lunch from the University of Galway.

Meeting at The Quadrangle arch at University of Galway. Please email Monica (mmullins@eeu.antaisce.org) with any questions.
