The city of Ivanec together with the city company Poslovna zona Ivanec d.o.o. organizes the activity of distributing seedlings of the famous Ivanec linden tree, which is more than 600 years old. In 2019, the Croatian Forestry Institute cloned the oldest Ivanec linden and its seedlings are ready for transplanting.

As part of the European Sustainable Development Week, 100 seedlings will be distributed to citizens, entrepreneurs, schools, and kindergartens. The aforementioned eco-educational action will contribute to the enrichment of the area’s natural resources and contribute to sustainable development in the segment of climate challenges.

In the week 20.-26. September, citizens will be able to register online for a copy of linden tree.

Extensive promotional activities are planned for the entire duration of the campaign, such as holding a green classroom in cooperation with the Ivanec high school.

Grad Ivanec zajedno s gradskom tvrtkom Poslovnom zonom Ivanec d.o.o. organizira aktivnost podjele sadnica poznate ivanečke lipe, stare više od 600 godina. Hrvatski šumarski institut klonirao je 2019. g. najstariju ivanečku lipu te su njezine sadnice spremne za presađivanje.

U sklopu Europskog tjedna održivog razvoja, 100 sadnica podijelit će se građanima, poduzetnicima, školama, vrtićima. Navedena eko – edukativna akcija doprinijet će obogaćivanju prirodnih resursa područja te doprinijeti održivom razvoju u segmentu klimatskih izazova.

U tjednu od 20.-26. rujna građanima će biti omogućeno da se online zapišu za primjerak svoje lipe.

 Za cijelo vrijeme trajanja kampanje, planirane su opsežne promotivne aktivnosti, poput održavanja zelene učionice u suradnji sa srednjom školom Ivanec. Ova edukativna akcija održava se već treću godinu zaredom.
