Representing Pride is a process-based curatorial photography collection, premiering never-before-seen works focused on LGBTQIA+ stories, by eight individual photographers from around the Mediterranean basin.

The photographers are high-calibre, professionals from varying mediums in the field, ranging between analogue, digital and collage. Each individual photographer addresses different subjects that are relevant to their practices, these stories touch on autobiographical subjects around identity, conditioned perspectives on gender, and even spaces exploring queer mythology.

These new bodies of work are created in honour of the EuroPride 2023 festival, and are the result of a tuition-free educational program for visual storytellers organised by HOLMA photo. The works are created under the mentorship of multi-award-winning photographer and journalist Tanya Habjouqa (NOOR images), and curated by Samira Damato (Pride Photo Awards, World Press Photo, NOOR images).
