Education event that aims to encourage development of empathy in children for all living creatures. Furthermore, it will sensitize children to the problems faced by people with disability.
In collaboration with Center for the provision of services in the community Novi Jelkovec, storytelling workshop with creative activities for children will take place to celebrate the World Animal Day and World Space Week. Adult disabled library user from the Novi Jelkovec Center will read a picture book “Dogs in Space” written by Jasna Jasna Žmak and Dubravka Kolanović. This event is organized within the project “Green Libraries for Green Zagreb” of Zagreb City Libraries.
U suradnji s Centrom za pružanje usluga u zajednici Novi Jelkovec održat će se pričaonica s kreativnim aktivnostima za djecu, kojom će se obilježiti Svjetski dan (zaštite) životinja i Svjetski tjedan svemira. Djeci će slikovnicu "Psi u svemiru Jasne Jasne Žmak" i Dubravke Kolanović čitati odrasla korisnica s invaliditetom iz Centra Novi Jelkovec. Događanje se organizira u okviru projekta "Zelena knjižnica za zeleni Zagreb", koji provode Knjižnice grada Zagreba.
