The Croatian government has earlier this year made a decision on granting the license for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in the Adriatic. Green political party ORaH (Sustainable Development of Croatia) opposes the decision of the Government and is organizing a conference marking World Environment Day, on which the experts wil talk about common procedures in the realization of projects of research and exploitation of oil and whether the Government of the Republic of Croatia respected those procedures. Introductory speeches will be followed by a debate.
