Today is the first International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. On that occasion the Embassy is happy to invite you to join us on the online conferece „Stop food loss and waste!“ (29. september at 11:00, Estonian time). From the Netherlands Toine Timmermans (Director of Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling and Program Manager in Wageningen University and Research Circular Economy in Food) will share the Dutch experience in tackling food waste. The conference is co-organised by the Embassy togheter with the Estonain Food Bank, the Estonian Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture and by the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre.

Täna on esimene rahvusvaheline toidukao ja -jäätmete teadlikkuse päev.
