Climate Essentials Webinar with KPMG Sustainable Futures Team

As part of the events for SDG Week that Enterprise Ireland as organised, Dr Barry O’ Dwyer and Dr James Fitton of the KPMG Sustainable Future team are delivering a webinar on climate change.

This webinar will provide participants with the pre-requisite knowledge to understand climate science, the potential challenges and opportunities posed by climate change, knowledge of the global and national climate change policy context and implication of these policies for Enterprise Ireland. The workshop will be delivered with a combination of presentations, Slido polls, case study examples and discussion. Speakers include Dr Barry O’Dwyer and Dr James Fitton. Dr Barry O’Dwyer is a climate risk scientist with over a decade’s experience in the area of climate change risk. Barry is a Director in KPMGs Sustainable Futures Team, and his work focuses on supporting corporate and public sector clients in assessing the risks posed by climate change to their business and operations. Dr James Fitton is an Associate Director in KPMG’s Sustainable Futures Team and is climate risk scientist with 10+ years’ experience working in academia on climate change risk and adaptation.
