Under the mentorship of the teacher, the students will independently and in groups research how the local community takes care of sustainable development and applies the values of the common good. It will connect the social components of care for the elderly, inclusion of people with disabilities in everyday life activities and care for the socially vulnerable. Using the examples of the Humana nova association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association from Čakovec, students will recognize and evaluate the social dimensions of volunteering and sustainable management. They will get to know local associations that deal with volunteering, Social self-service and associations that work with people with disabilities. Based on new knowledge, students will integrate values and develop empathy, and pass them on to their peers and the local community.

Učenici će uz mentorstvo nastavnika samostalno i grupno istraživati na koji način lokalna zajednica brine o održivom razvoju i primjenjuje vrednote općeg dobra. Povezat će socijalne komponente o brizi za starije osobe, uključivanje osoba s invaliditetom u svakodnevne životne aktivnosti i brizi za socijalno ugrožene. Učenici će na primjerima udruga Humana nova i Udruga oboljelih od leukemije i limfoma iz Čakovca prepoznati i vrednovati socijalne dimenzije s volontiranjem i održivim gospodarenjem. Upoznat će se s lokalnim udrugama koje se bave volontiranjem, Socijalnom samoposlugom i udrugama koje rade s osobama s invaliditetom. Učenici će na temelju novih saznanja integrirati vrednote i razvijati empatiju, te prenijeti svojim vršnjacima i lokalnoj zajednici.
