Sustainable Development must start from local communities. Which are the main issues and solutions faced by big and small Italian cities? Yezers talks with representatives of different Italian cities.
Yezers is a non-party non-profit association whose mission is to represent the interests of young people in the Italian political and economic agenda, for a more sustainable and inclusive Italy in 2050.
To achieve this goal, Yezers believes it is essential to implement Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our communities, thus the idea of an event on local Sustainable Development, aimed at identifying virtuous examples and inspiring other municipalities. An hybrid format will be chosen for the event: a virtual round table, where Yezers will host guests with different roles for the sustainable development of their communities (e.g., Piero Pelizzaro, Chief Resilience Officer, Milan; Antonio De Donno, mayor of Tricase), followed by the second working table of the participatory plan of Local Sustainable Development of the municipality of Tricase, the first initiative of this kind in Apulia. Tricase will project the virtual meeting in the town hall and invite its citizens to participate before the working table opens – in compliance with the rules imposed by the health situation.

Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, Yezers ritiene fondamentale implementare gli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile nelle nostre comunità, da qui l'idea di un evento sullo Sviluppo Sostenibile locale, volto a individuare esempi virtuosi e ispirare altri comuni. Per l'evento verrà scelto un format ibrido: una tavola rotonda virtuale, dove Yezers dialogherà con ospiti ricoprenti ruoli attivi per lo sviluppo sostenibile delle proprie comunità (es. Piero Pelizzaro, Chief Resilience Officer, Milano; Antonio De Donno, sindaco, Tricase) , seguito dal secondo tavolo di lavoro del Piano partecipativo di Sviluppo Locale Sostenibile del Comune di Tricase, prima iniziativa del genere in Puglia. Tricase proietterà l'incontro virtuale in municipio e inviterà i suoi cittadini a partecipare prima dell'apertura del tavolo di lavoro - nel rispetto delle regole imposte dalla situazione sanitaria.
