EirGrid in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals namely UN SDG 14 ‘Life Under Water’ and UN SDG 15 ‘Life on Land’ which EirGrid commits as part of our secondary goals in line with the Sustainability Strategy is organising a beach clean-up at Sandymount beach in partnership with Clean Coasts. We will be having our senior ecologist give an educational talk on litter, types of litter, marine life and clean-ups. We have over 15 volunteers (EirGrid employees) signed up for the clean-up.
