The purpose of our city is to present global challenges about sustainability and what the municipality can do about that : organic and local food at the school, vegetarian cooking, reduction of food waste, cycle electric mobility (demonstration and test), discussion about an action plan on biodiversity (participative meeting), movie projection and discussion with the habitants (with “Chemins de travers”, who received the citizen price in the greenpeace festival about documentary). We will also expose photos from Yann Arthus Bertrand about the Sustainable Development Goals. This exposure will take place at the town hall during two weeks. We will have a special attention to biodiversity because our small village is located in a very famous wet area, so very rich on biodiversity. A special work with an artist will be done with the children of the city (painting, colorins, screnne printing). We want ton integrate the european sustainable development week to our local project about ecology.

Le projet est de proposer aux habitants une sensibilisation globale aux ODD, à travers l'exposition de Yann Arthus Bertrand qui leur est consacrée. Il s'agit également de profiter de cette semaine pour mettre en avant les initiatives locales : introduction des repas bio à la cantine, lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire, mobilité électrique avec démonstration et essai d'un vélo les dimanches matins pendant le marché. Un ciné débat sur la transition écologique sera également proposé ainsi qu'une réunion participative sur la biodiversité (la commune appartient au marais poitevin). Les enfants seront initiés à travers des dessins et des sérigraphies à la connaissance de la biodiversité locale. La nouvelle municipalité souhaite de cette manière sensibiliser et impliquer les habitants dans les projets locaux de transition.
