Nordic Council of Ministers
The Nordic Council of Ministers is the official body for inter-governmental co-operation in the Nordic Region, including the member states Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden as well as the Faroe Islands, Greenland and the Åland Islands. It seeks solutions with visible positive effects for everybody who lives in the Nordic countries. The Nordic Prime Ministers’ vision is that the Nordic region will become the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030. The co-operation in the Nordic Council of Ministers works to serve this purpose, with an Action Plan for Our Vision 2030 in the period 2021 – 2024 focusing on three strategic priorities: a green, a competitive and a socially sustainable Nordic Region. We believe that we are stronger together and by cooperating on a Nordic and European level we believe we can achieve more.
