The 1 Million Youth Actions Challenge (1MYAC), launched in 2021 by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), aims to mobilize young people (aged 10 to 30) worldwide to take practical actions for a sustainable future. 1MYAC relates to four SDGs: SDG 6 (Water), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
1MYAC will inaugurate its international 1MYAC School campaign during the European Sustainability Development Week. The 1MYAC School campaign works with schools, universities and the non-formal education sector (Scouts, youth organizations, NGOs providing vocational training etc.). The goal is to carry out at least 1 million youth actions.
