Walk21 Ireland

Join us on 19-23 September 2022 in-person in Dublin or online.

Walk21 Ireland will bring together practitioners, academics, planners, politicians and citizens from across the world. It will celebrate the importance of walking and will re-imagine a world that is more liveable and sustainable.

This is the 22nd edition of the Walk21 International Conference Series on Walking and Liveable Communities. Since the first edition in 2000, the series promoted the value of walking for transport, health, climate challenges, local liveability, personal well-being and social vibrancy.

This year’s theme is The Decade to Change. We’ll explore how supporting and encouraging walking can help deliver Sustainable Development Goal commitments by 2030.

Locations: EPIC Museum (Mo 19 Sep), Grangegorman Campus (Tu 20-We 21 Sep), Sports Campus Ireland (Th 22 Sep), multiple locations across Ireland (Fr 23 Sep).

Join online: the EUR 50 online ticket offers networking, attendance of the session of your choice and Q&A.

Partners: TU Dublin, Government of Ireland
