UCC Enactus & UCC International Development Society – Concern Worldwide for a Project Us Conversation Café

To mark International Day of Peace, UCC Enactus & IntDev Society are hosting Concern Worldwide for a Project Us Conversation Cafe, including Concern’s Head of Advocacy and a Campaigner.

“The Nothing Kills Like Hunger (NKLH) campaign is a brand-new activism campaign being launched by Concern Worldwide later this month, focused on raising public awareness of conflict-induced hunger and urging global leaders to take the urgent actions needed to save the lives of millions of people on the brink of famine. The objective of the campaign is to engage and educate young people (aged 18-30 yrs old) on the issue of world hunger through the lens of conflict, and to mobilise the youth of Ireland to take action and help break the cycle between conflict and hunger for good. NKLH aims to create a passionate community of young Irish activists who want to affect change on a global level and will join forces with Concern to influence decision makers.
