The Accelerate Great Welsh Walk

The Accelerate Great Welsh Walk, a 7-day movement challenge, is organised by the Accelerate Cross-cutting Themes group to support ESDW2021.

Colleagues from across the Accelerate programme partnership, which comprises University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC), Cardiff University’s Clinical Innovation Accelerator (CIA), Swansea University Medical School’s Healthcare Technology Centre (HTC) and Life Sciences Hub Wales (LSHW), aim to achieve a collective distance of 870 miles (1400 kms), the length of the Wales Coast Path, in a 7-day movement challenge.

The Accelerate Great Welsh Walk initiative aims to support the ‘Good Health and Well-being’ SDG and to highlight Accelerate projects that promote sustainable development.
