Author of Dee the Bee (2018), Dolores Keaveney will lead the Dee the Bee story trail based on the book through Riverside Park in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare. Event is by invitation for primary school.

As part of Sustainable Development Goals week 20 – 26th of September, Monasterevin Library and Kildare Library Services have invited author of Dee the Bee (2018), Dolores Keaveney to lead the Dee the Bee story trail based on the book through Riverside Park in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare on Wednesday 21st of September at 11am.
Dolores Keaveney is a Children’s author, illustrator, and painter. She gets her inspiration from bees, her garden, and her grandchildren. From this popular book, Dee the Bee story trail was developed and has travelled numerous counties in Ireland in conjunction with the library service and county councils. Monasterevin are lucky to be hosting the story trail in the Riverside Park this Summer/Autumn.
As Dolores says “It is a great way to get children out for a walk and they can read the story and learn all about the pollination of the fruits and vegetables we eat everyday”
