SNSH student council presents: World Cleanup Day 2021 at Linnahall with People For The Sea MTU

A bunch of volunteers will gather at Tallinn’s infamous Linnahall to participate in the World Cleanup Day 2021, by collecting trash near the seaside.

It is slowly becoming an yearly tradition for the Tallinn University’s School of Sciences and Health student council (LTI ÜN) institute to participate in the World Cleanup Day.

This year as well, with the co-operation of People For The Sea MTU we shall again do our best to try and save our environment a little bit.

The cigarette buds and other trash found near the sea can cause harm for thousands of animals and ruin the quality of the water. All this damange is caused by society and will come back at us even worse, if we do not do anything against it.

We will gather at 12:00 near Linnahall and clean near the seaside for about 3 hours. It is adviced to dress warmly as the coast of Tallinn can be quite windy. The gloves and garbage bags will be provided by the organisers. During this time we will offer refreshments to all the volunteers.

Feel free to join us!
