The situation arising from COVID-19 has made even more evident the conflict between personal, family and work life, especially for women. To address this urgent reality, the Government of Catalonia has promoted a seminar on public policies for care and conciliation.

The aim is to provide an expert diagnosis and proposal on public care policies in order to move towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

It’s organized by the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development of Catalonia, Centre for Contemporary Studies and the Secretariat of Transparency and Open Government with the collaboration of the Catalan Women’s Institute, General- Directorate for Equality and the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation.
