The European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW), that takes place between May 30th and June 5th 2015, is a European-wide initiative, supported by the European Sustainable Development Network.

Taking place in the city of Porto for the first time, Porto Vivo, SRU, in partnership with a wide range of entities, organizes a full list of initiatives. This partnership gather with Porto Vivo, SRU, LFC/FEUP, CEAU/FAUP, APRUPP, SCMP, CESAP/ESAP, AdE Porto, FRADICAL, 3M2P and PCS.

These initiatives include workshops, conferences, and themed tours that show the importance of sustainability in urban regeneration interventions and in the efficient use of resources, in particular, the drive for energy efficiency.

The European Sustainable Development Week in Porto has the High Patronage of the Government of Portugal, through the Secretary of State for Regional Planning and Nature Conservation.

Because this issue is a commitment of all of us, we invite those interested to get involved in the ESDW and in its range of events.

A Semana Europeia do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (SEDS), que se realiza entre 30 de maio e 5 de junho de 2015, é uma iniciativa a nível europeu, apoiada pela Rede Europeia para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável.

Realizando-se na cidade do Porto pela primeira vez, cabe à Porto Vivo, SRU a organização, em parceria com um conjunto alargado de entidades, de um rol de iniciativas. Esta parceria reúne com a Porto Vivo, SRU, a LFC/FEUP, a CEAU/FAUP, a APRUPP, a SCMP, a CESAP/ESAP, a AdE Porto, a FRADICAL, a 3M2P e o PCS.

Estas iniciativas incluem workshops, conferências e visitas temáticas, que denotam a importância da sustentabilidade nas intervenções de reabilitação urbana e no uso eficiente de recursos, nomeadamente, com o estímulo à eficiência energética.

A Semana Europeia do Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Porto conta com o Alto Patrocínio do Governo de Portugal, através da Secretaria de Estado do Ordenamento do Território e Conservação da Natureza.
