The SDG Action Day (which consists of two days for the first time!) is the moment where all actors working on de SDG’s in the Netherlands get together and examine how they can speed up the movement.
The SDG Action Day is a day for people in the Netherlands who are working with or are interested in the SDGs. The main language of the day is Dutch and both plenary sessions will be in Dutch.
SDG Action Day is organised by SDG Nederland, in cooperation with SDG House Amsterdam (part of Royal Tropical Institute), PwC, Amsterdam Municipality, Global Compact Netherlands and DSGC.
De SDG Action Day vindt jaarlijks plaats op of rond 25 september (de verjaardag van de SDG’s) en is hét Nederlandse evenement over de Sustainable Development Goals. We geven deelnemers inzicht in waar we staan met de SDG’s, welke doelen extra aandacht vragen en hoe we gezamenlijk extra stappen kunnen zetten om deze dichterbij te brengen.
Dit jaar organiseren we voor het eerst een tweedaagse SDG Action Day met op vrijdag 24 september een virtueel plenair programma en workshops. Op zaterdag 25 september gaan we het land in en zullen onze lokale partners activiteiten organiseren op locatie.
Met het thema ‘Creating an SDG Movement Together’ ligt de focus dit jaar op de verbinding tussen nationaal en lokaal en Het programma richt zich op het professionele netwerk dat zich bezighoudt met de SDG’s, alsmede op betrokken burgers en jongeren. De dag wordt georganiseerd door SDG Nederland in samenwerking met PwC, Global Compact Network Netherlands, DSGC en KIT Royal Tropical Institute/SDG House.
