During the 5 teaching days, we want to hold as many activities as possible in order to introduce students to the issue of recycling, reuse and reduction so that it becomes a habit of their lives.
This project includes several different activities such as collecting and recycling waste paper, returnable packaging, making birdhouses, eco signs for the school yard and money boxes, and cleaning the beach. On the last day, students between the ages of 10 and 14 will have the opportunity to join the school’s volunteer club whose task is to continue these projects in the future. All the money collected by this project will be donated to the humanitarian association Mary’s Meals, which makes it possible to feed students in Africa.
Ovim projektom obuhvaćeno je nekoliko različitih aktivnosti poput prikupljanja i recikliranja starog papira, povratne ambalaže, izrade kućica za ptice, eko oznaka za školsko dvorište i kasica za štednju te čišćenja plaže. Posljednjeg dana, učenici u dobi od 10 do 14 godina imat će priliku uključiti se u školski volonterski klub čija je zadaća nastaviti s ovim projektima i u budućnosti. Sav novac prikupljen ovim projektom bit će doniran humanitarnoj udruzi Marijini obroci, koja omogućuje prehranu učenika u Africi.
