By publishing its first Sustainable Development Report, the Sénart National Interest Initiative reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, a true thread of more than 45 years of territorial anchoring, while the State has taken a new step in encouraging its operators to contribute to a more resilient, inclusive and low-carbon urbanization on the occasion of 10 years of the Sustainable City Plan. The history and the future of the public establishment and of the Operation of National Interest are in fact inextricably linked to sustainable development.

In a territory 70% of which is made of natural and forest areas, Sénart National Interest Initiative is pursuing its action on three complementary scales: that of the great landscape, green and blue frames, which are the historical main lines of the regional development strategy, that of urban planning operations designing a polycentric city, and that of buildings.

En publiant son premier Rapport de Développement Durable, l’établissement public d’aménagement de Sénart réaffirme son engagement en faveur de l’aménagement durable, véritable fil conducteur de plus de 45 ans d’ancrage territorial, alors que l’Etat a franchi une nouvelle étape dans l’incitation de ses opérateurs à contribuer à une urbanisation plus résiliente, solidaire et bas carbone à l’occasion des 10 ans du Plan Ville durable. L’histoire comme l’avenir de l’établissement public, et de l’Opération d’Intérêt National, sont en effet indissociablement liés au développement durable.

Sur un territoire composé à 70 % d’espaces naturels et forestiers, l’EPA Sénart poursuit son action sur trois échelles complémentaires : celle du grand paysage, des trames vertes et bleues, lignes de force historiques de la stratégie d’aménagement du territoire, celle des opérations d’urbanisme dessinant une ville polycentrique, et celle des bâtiments.
