This project is hosted by organization Futureshot Factory. At Futureshot Factory, we’re passionate about turning moonshots into earthshots. Moonshots are goals that are currently impossible to achieve or 10x of what is possible. We believe that humanity needs to set more moonshot goals in order to force innovation and collaboration. Futureshot is a place for moonshot thinkers and futurists, guided by youth. It’s an incubator for moonshot projects like solving climate change and disrupting the global healthcare system.

Our current focus is to tackle the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that these are all moonshots and are set with a target of 2030 to address. By utilizing technologies and leveraging our knowledge in first-principles thinking problem solving we hope to help address some of the world’s biggest challenges.

There are 2 main ways we can run this workshop

Introducing the SDG and technology being used to solve them generally, going through different goals (climate impact, health, education) and speaking on each of them in a general context

Talking about one specific SDG goal (education) and how we are personally attempting to tackle that goal, as well as our project with IBM
