In recent years Slovakia based its SD activities primarily on documents dealing with the use of the EU funds as these documents specified also targets in the area of SD. However, with new challenges after the Rio+20 conference and in relation with the post-2015 agenda we have decided to reflect these new trends in a new National SD strategy.
V poslednom období sa aktivity SR v oblasti TUR opierali najmä o dokumenty spojené s využívaním fondov EÚ, keďže tieto dokumenty obsahovali aj ciele TUR. Avšak, reagujúc na nové výzvy vyplývajúce z konferencie Rio+20 a v súvislosti s agendou post-2015 bolo prijaté rozhodnutie o vypracovaní novej stratégie TUR na Slovensku.
