On Friday, 5th of June – World Environment Day – The Natural History Museum of Tampere and researcher co-operative Tapaus have organized together an open seminar “Our common urban nature” in Museum center Vapriikki auditorium at 10-12.

Researcher co-operative Tapaus was founded in Tampere in November 2013. It offers the latest research and qualitative research methods based on expert and research services. Co-operative currently has eight members.

What is special about in urban nature? What are the historical lines of development in Tampere urban nature and the new opportunities? How to participate residents in urban nature planning in Tesoma suburb? Lecturers are researcher FM HT Eveliina Asikainen, researcher MMM Jere Nieminen and researcher EHS Pauliina Lehtonen.

After the seminar the audience can explore the Natural History Museum of Tampere in the same building. This exhibition presents the history of life and biological diversity in the Tampere region through our many senses, and it displays topical natural phenomena.

Perjantaina 5.6. – Maailman ympäristöpäivänä – Tampereen Luonnontieteellinen museo ja Tutkijaosuuskunta Tapaus järjestävät kaikille avoimen, maksuttoman seminaarin ”Yhteinen kaupunkiluontomme” Museokeskus Vapriikin auditoriossa klo 10–12.

Mitä erityistä kaupunkiluonnossa on? Mitkä ovat Tampereen kaupunkiluonnon historialliset kehityslinjat ja uudet mahdollisuudet ja miten tehdään osallistuva budjetointi kaupunkiluonnon suunnittelussa Tesomalla? Luennoimassa ovat FM HT Eveliina Asikainen, MMM Jere Nieminen ja YTT Pauliina Lehtonen Tutkijaosuuskunta Tapauksesta.

Seminaarin jälkeen voi tutustua laajennettuun Luonnontieteelliseen museoon, jossa selviää mm. missä ovat kotikunnan parhaat luontokohteet. Upeassa näyttelyssä tuttuunkin luontoon avautuu aivan uusia näkökulmia.
