Employees of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism will visit Recycling center and learn more about processes of collecting and waste treatment. Regional Recycling Center in Podgorica is built as the most advanced system of waste pre-treatment and separation of recyclable materials (cardboard, paper, plastic, metal, rubber, etc.).The construction of this plant, with the capacity of 90,000 tons per year,  has contributed to raising the level of environmental protection and by recycling of unsorted municipal waste the amount of waste to be deposited in sanitary cells significantly reduced and thereby their lifespan prolonged. The separation of recyclable materials (cardboard, plastic, PET bottles, ferrous and nonferrous metals, etc.) created the possibilities for their economic evaluation.
