Faced with the struggle to achieve sustainable global development, what can SMEs do? And how? The PIMEC Foundation, in collaboration with Caixa d’Enginyers, is organizing this conference to find answers to these questions and share experiences on the SDGs.
In September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a framework for universal and comprehensive action that is being deployed through 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Faced with this common goal of achieving sustainable global development, the responsibility for implementing the SDGs lies not only with the administrations, but also on civil society and, of course, on companies, which constitute the current economic engine. But what role should they take on? How can they do it? Perhaps they are already working on it without being aware of it?
Davant la lluita per assolir un desenvolupament mundial sostenible, què hi poden fer les pimes? I com? La Fundació PIMEC en col·laboració amb la Caixa d’Enginyers, organitza aquesta jornada per trobar respostes a aquestes preguntes i compartir experiències sobre els ODS.
El setembre del 2015 va ser aprovada per l’Assemblea General de les Nacions Unides l’Agenda 2030 de Desenvolupament Sostenible, un marc d’actuació universal i integral que s’està desplegant mitjançant 17 objectius de desenvolupament sostenible (ODS). Davant d’aquest objectiu comú d’assolir un desenvolupament mundial sostenible, la responsabilitat d’implantar els ODS no només recau en les administracions, sinó també en la societat civil i, per descomptat, en les empreses, que constitueixen el motor econòmic actual. Però quin rol han d’assumir? Com poden fer-ho? Potser ja hi estan treballant sense ser-ne conscients?
