Maastricht School of Management (MSM) organizes on a regular basis Movie Nights for its students and staff. In the light of the European Sustainability week MSM will be screening An inconvenient sequel; TRUTH TO POWER. This is a 2017 American documentary film about former United States Vice President Al Gore’s continuing mission to battle climate change. The sequel to An Inconvenient Truth (2006) addresses the progress made to tackle the problem and Gore’s global efforts to persuade governmental leaders to invest in renewable energy, culminating in the landmark signing of 2016’s Paris Agreement. This movie night will also be open to the public. By showing this movie MSM intends to increase or to reinforce the awareness of the climate change challenges among its students, staff and the public, in order to trigger climate/sustainability related actions on individual level.

Maastricht School of Management (MSM) organiseert regelmatig Movie Nights voor haar studenten en medewerkers. Tijdens de European Sustainability Week zal MSM de film An inconvenient sequel; TRUTH TO POWER tonen. Deze Amerikaanse documentaire uit 2017 toont Al Gore's niet aflatende missie om klimaatverandering te bestrijden. Het vervolg op An Inconvenient Truth (2006) laat de voortgang zien op dit gebied en Gore's wereldwijde inspanningen om regeringsleiders te overtuigen te investeren in duurzame energie, met als hoogtepunt de belangrijke ondertekening van de Overeenkomst van Parijs van 2016. Deze 'Movie Night' is open voor publiek. Door deze film te laten zien, wil MSM het bewustzijn van de uitdagingen van de klimaatverandering bij haar studenten, personeel en het publiek vergroten, en zo acties gerelateerd aan klimaat of duurzaamheid op individueel niveau te initiëren.
