Leave No One Behind Conversation

Contribute to a public consultation workshop to discuss the ways to walk the talk of the 2030 Leave No One Behind Promise.

In 2015 Ireland signed the United Nations’ Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This is a document set out by the United Nations, that contains 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are goals for countries to reach by 2030. The document contains also a promise to Leave No One Behind. No Goal will be met unless it is met by everyone. It means putting the needs and interests of the furthest behind first.

With the support of a grant by Concern, ATD will organise Conversation workshops & the result of these debates will be a “Leave No One Behind: Walking the Talk” video and handbook that will include contributions from those who participate in the project.

The questions which will be discussed at the Conversation Workshop:

1 – What does the Leave No One Behind Promise mean to you?

2 – How convinced are you? Do you think it’s possible? What challenges do you envision keeping the Promise?

3 – What steps can we take in our own lives and in our own communities?
