By implementing interesting educational activities under the name „Knowledge of water for water“ Public utility company VODOVOD I KANALIZACIJA Ltd. will join this year’s ESDW. In cooperation with its partner Water agency, company representatives will visit two elementary schools in the city of Rijeka, where pupils will have the opportunity to learn about public water supply and drainage, with emphasis on the need for the rational and sustainable use of this limited resource. Alongside with the presentation of the technical components of the water supply and sewage system and the practical part of the “water station”, the students will pass the educational quiz named “Eco riddle”. The youngest children will express their creativity through a creative workshop on the water where they will design personalized “water” badges. Mentioned activities will be carried out in „Podmurvice“ and „Eugen Kumičić“ elementary schools.

Zanimljivim edukativnim aktivnostima pod nazivom „Znanjem o vodi za vodu“ KD VODOVOD I KANALIZACIJA d.o.o. Rijeka pridružit će se ovogodišnjem obilježavanju ETOR -a. U suradnji s partnerom Vodna agencija predstavnici Društva će posjetiti dvije riječke osnovne škole u kojima će učenicima približiti tematiku javne vodoopskrbe i odvodnje uz naglasak na potrebu racionalnog i održivog korištenja ovog količinski ograničenog resursa. Uz prezentaciju tehničkih komponenta vodovoda i kanalizacije i praktičnog dijela na „vodnoj postaji“, učenici će proći i teorijski dio kroz edukativnu eko pitalicu. Za najmlađe će biti organizirana kreativna radionica na temu voda, na kojoj će se polaznici okušati u izradi personaliziranih „vodnih“ bedževa. Program obilježavanja ETOR-a održat će se u OŠ „Podmurvice“ i OŠ „Eugen Kumičić“.
