JEF’s Independence Day Clean Up Bring your families and friends together to work towards a cleaner environment and planet!

When? 21/09/2022 at 4pm Meeting Point: St. Julian’s (Torri) Tower

Targeted SDGs: 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, 13 – Climate Action, 14- Life Below Water, 15 – Life on Land

JEF Malta will cleaning up the coastline of the Torri and Sliema beaches on the 21st September 2022 at 4pm. The meeting point will be St Julian’s Tower. JEF Malta Members and their families are invited to come together and work for a better and cleaner environment.

The expected duration of the event is 60 minutes. The participants will be divided in smaller groups to ensure the area is thoroughly cleaned.

Before and after photos will be taken to commemorate the event as well as raise awareness on social media on the litter problem we face not only in Malta but across the world.

After the participants have gathered litter, a thorough spot check will take place to ensure an optimal result.
