The event will be held at the public library of Tartu where Raivo Mänd, an emeritus professor at the University of Tartu, will be interviewed by a journalist Aime Jõgi.
Mänd has done extensive research and he has also been involved in the popularization of science. In the spring, his latest book “The Curse of the Primitive and other stories about nature and man” was published, which deals with human evolution and natural selection. These big and vital topics will be discussed during this event.

Raivo Mänd on Tartu Ülikooli emeriitprofessor, kes lisaks mahukale teadustööle on tegelenud ka teaduse populariseerimisega. Kevadel ilmus tema värskeim raamat "Ürgema needus ja teisi jutte loodusest ning inimesest", mis käsitleb inimese evolutsiooni ja looduslikke valikuid. Need suured ja elulised teemad sel korral jutuks tulevadki.
