Throughout the week, several activities of environmental education and awareness will take place in several places of Almada county, including the Green Fest, an initiative with the participation of thousands of children from local schools; the launch of the “Mission: Reduce at Home” Project, where citizens are invited to adopt best practices of energy consumption; the implementation of organic street markets, with fresh agricultural products from local producers; the occurrence of varied workshops, including construction of nest boxes and manufacturing lamps with used glass bottles; and the 12th edition of the Parliament of Small Members, where children from local schools manifest their concerns and suggestions regarding the future of the city of Almada and our planet.
