Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, will drive awareness for the Global Goals with its employees, the Irish food & drink industry and the general public through a month long communications programme.

Beginning May 30th, Bord Bia, who became a member of the UN Global Compact in July 2018, will commence a communications programme for greater awareness around the Global Goals within Bord Bia’s network of business and social contacts.

Over 140 Employees in Dublin and across 13 other markets will receive information about the goals and social media tools empowering them to share within their own social media networks.

Bord Bia will equip over 340 member companies of Origin Green (Ireland’s food and drink sustainability programme run by Bord Bia) and their staff with social media content to show their support.

In addition, the Irish public will be encouraged to find out more about the Global Goals via a display feature at Bloom (Ireland’s largest garden festival) that will take place over 5 days starting May 30th. Bord Bia will also create a dynamic SDG window display at its busy Dublin city centre office location and contribute to business press editorial content.
