The Eco-Schools Program is promoted by the Foundation for Environmental Education and developed in Spain by ADEAC. During the 2019/2020 academic year, a total of 28 schools (public, private and subsidized) have been part of Las Rozas Eco-Schools Network, which is the largest local network in Spain. Several activities and actions have been carried out, such as the exhibition “Actions for a Sustainable Christmas”, “Biodiversity Gardens” or the “Participation in COP25”. During ESDW, it will take place the annual delivery of Green Flags, where the work developed in the last three years will be shown. It will take place at the CEIP San Miguel, who receives the flag for the first time. Members of ADEAC management team will attend the award ceremony, as well as representatives of Las Rozas City Council. In addition, the renewal of Green Flags will be delivered to CEIPSO El Cantizal, Colegio Cristo Rey, Colegio GSD Las Rozas, Colegio Los Peñascales, EEI Cigüeña María and EEI La Marazuela.

El Programa Ecoescuelas, está promovido por la Foundation for Environmental Education y desarrollado en España por ADEAC. Durante el curso 2019/2020, han formado parte de la Red de Ecoescuelas de las Rozas un total de 28 centros educativos (públicos, privados y concertados), siendo la red local más amplia de España. Se han llevado a cabo diversas actividades y actuaciones, como la exposición “Actuaciones por unas Navidades Sostenibles”, “Huertos de biodiversidad” o la “Participación en la COP25”. Durante la ESDW tendrá lugar la entrega anual de Banderas Verdes, donde se mostrará la labor realizada en los últimos tres cursos. El acto tendrá lugar en el CEIP San Miguel, que recibe la bandera por primera vez. Asistirán al acto de entrega miembros del equipo directivo de ADEAC, así como representantes del Ayuntamiento. Además, se hará entrega de la renovación de Banderas Verdes a CEIPSO El Cantizal, Colegio Cristo Rey, Colegio GSD Las Rozas, Colegio Los Peñascales, EEI Cigüeña María y EEI La Marazuela.
