Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board will drive greater awareness for the SDGs among employees, Irish food & drink companies and the general public through a month long communications programme.
Beginning June 5th, Bord Bia will launch a month long communications programme involves sharing the SDGs with Bord Bia’s network of business and social contacts.
Employees will receive a United Nations SDG badge, information about the goals and social media tools to enable them to share the goals within their own social networks. Employees will also be invited to special screenings of TED talks on the SDGs and understand what they can do themselves to play their part.
Members of the Origin Green programme (a world first sustainability programme for the food and drink industry) will be equipped with a series of tools to help show how their sustainability actions align to the goals.
Through a dynamic window display, the Irish public will be encouraged to find out more about the SDGs and can read about how Origin Green, Ireland’s national food and drink sustainability programme is helping to deliver on the global goals.
