Dr Jonathan Derham Environmental Protection Agency will give a talk on Climate Change and other Wicked Problems – communication and behavioural challenges

Jonathan has worked in the environment field here in Ireland and internationally for over 35 years in the public and private sector on a diverse range of areas including Environment and Health; Waste & Resources; Mining; water protection; Industrial and Agricultural Regulation; behavioural change; Climate Science; Assessment and Research; etc. He has represented the State at intergovernmental meetings and is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences. He is currently with the Environmental Protection Agency and is based in their national headquarters at Johnstown Castle. He has a strong personal interest in our natural environment and in his spare time acts as a ‘citizen scientist’ collecting records of biodiversity around Curracloe where he lives.
