Biology and geography lessons in gymnasium classes.

In the Nõmme-Mustamäe Landscape Reserve, students were introduced to the Tallnet-Halsell method for assessing the state of the stand. As part of a small field practice, the students laid a test site, measured the density of the crown, the transparency of foliage / needles, the height of the tree, the diameter of the trunk, the class of the tree in the stand was determined, and a sample was taken from the trunk.

Õpilased tutvusid , kuidas hinnata metsaseisundi Tallnet-Halsell meetodiga. Välispraktika raames nad määrasid väikest prooviala, mõõtsid puu ümbermõõtu ja võtsid tüveproovi.
