The highest authority of the Basque Government will present the Basque Environmental Journalism Award to recognise the work of the media in grassroots environmental awareness raising.
Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, the Premier of the Basque Government, will present the Basque Environmental Journalism Award 2015 at the Basque Biodiversity Centre on 2 June.
This award seeks to recognise the work of the media to raise environmental awareness of the citizenry of the Basque Country and to ensure that environmental news has the place that it deserves in that media.
El lehendakari del Gobierno Vasco, Iñigo Urkullu, entregará el 2 de junio en el Centro de Biodiversidad de Euskadi el Premio de Periodismo Ambiental del País Vasco 2015. Con este galardón se pretende reconocer la labor de los medios de comunicación en la sensibilización ambiental de la ciudadanía del País Vasco y fomentar que las noticias ambientales ocupen el lugar que se merece en dichos medios.
