Sustainable Development Day at the University of Gdansk “Less is more, how to overcome consumptionism”

On the 30.09.2022 at 3 p.m., the University of Gdansk will conduct the webinar with the presentation of the Sustainable Development Day at the University of Gdańsk, which took place on the 3.06.2022.

On the 30th of September 2022, at 3 p.m., we invite you to a webinar  ESDW webinar where we will present the report on the Sustainable Development Day at the University of Gdansk, which will be held at the University of Gdansk on the 3 rd of June 2022. As part of this day, a number of lectures and thematic workshops are being planned. The event is organized as one of the tasks of the project: “The Science Clubs at the University of Gdańsk – known  and unknown faces of science”. The main theme of this year’s event is consumptionism. In line with the slogan ‘Less is more, or how to overcome consumptionism’ the invited academics will present lectures on this subject, and students scientific associations  will conduct workshops for young people and pupils. The exhibition of ’10 rules of fair trade’ will accompany the event. Details on: SDD UG web and on the attached program.



W dniu 30.09.2022 r. o godz. 15.00 zapraszamy na webinar (link: ESDW webinar), na którym zaprezentujemy sprawozdanie z Dnia Zrównoważonego Rozwoju w Uniwersytecie Gdańskim, który odbędzie się w dniu 3.06.2022 r. Patronat nad wydarzeniem objął Rektor UG prof. dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski. W ramach tego Dnia zorganizowano szereg wykładów oraz warsztatów tematycznych. Wydarzenie odbywa się w ramach projektu „Science Clubs w Uniwersytecie Gdańskim – znane i nieznane oblicza nauki”. Zgodnie z hasłem przewodnim „Mniej znaczy więcej, czyli jak pokonać konsumpcjonizm” zaproszeni pracownicy naukowi zaprezentują na ten temat wykłady, a studenci i koła naukowe przeprowadzą warsztaty dla młodzieży i uczniów.  Wydarzeniu towarzyszy wystawa 10 zasad sprawiedliwego handlu. Szczegóły na temat wydarzenia na stronie projektu: SDD UG web oraz w załączonym programie.
