6th Children’s Traffic Safety Conference

The Estonian Road Museum’s Children’s Traffic Safety Conference is an annual event of the children’s traffic education. The target group are students of 3-4th grade and their teachers.

In 2021 The Estonian Road Museum Children’s Traffic Safety Conference Going By Bus Is Gaining of Time will focus on public transport rules, road safety of children and the future of public transport.

How to behave correctly and safely while waiting for public transport, how to get safely on and off the bus and train? Do the passengers on the bus always have to fasten their seat belts? Why do traffic accidents happen? What is the future of public transport? The answers to the questions will be found in the conference presentations and workshops. The workshops will be organized so that the students can express their opinions and offer their solutions to the topic. Knowledge will be shared by the traffic specialists of the Estonian Transport Administration, the railway safety ambassadors of AS Operail, Pärnu County Public Transport Centre, Tallinn University of Technology, the Traffic Accident Investigation Commission. 



Maanteemuuseumi konverentsi sihtgrupiks on 3.–4. klasside õpilased ja nende õpetajad. 2021. aasta konverents keskendub ühistranspordiga liiklemise reeglitele ja liiklusohutusele ja tulevikule.

Kuidas ühistransporti oodates õigesti ja ohutult käituda, kuidas bussi ja rongi siseneda ning sealt väljuda? Kas bussis tuleb alati kinnitada turvavöö? Miks juhtuvad liiklusõnnetused? Milline on tuleviku ühistransport? Kõike seda ja veel palju muudki saab teada liikluskonverentsi ettekannetest ja töötubades. Konverentsil jagavad teadmisi Eesti Transpordiameti liiklusspetsialistid, AS Operaili ohutussaadikud, MTÜ Pärnumaa Ühistranspordikeskus, Tallinna Tehnikaülikool, Liiklusõnnetuste uurimiskomisjon.
