The main objective of the event is to analyse new open innovation tools on sustainable development for the study of the impact of climate change and fire risk in the Raya area (border between Spain and Portugal). To this end, the exchange of good practices that facilitate risk management in the cooperation territory through the capitalisation of results and knowledge will be carried out. Interchange of good practices in sustainable development”, will not only improve the cooperation and coordination of fire fighting resources, but will also serve as an example of good practices focused on the protection and promotion of the environment which, in turn, allows the creation of employment and innovation in rural areas, supporting the local economy and the conservation of the landscape. The event also aims to train and raise awareness among the permanent and occasional rural population about the risk of forest fires, good preventive practices and self-protection resources in the event of an accident. To this end, training sessions aimed at a target audience will be held to facilitate risk management in the cooperation territory, as well as the communication and dissemination of the results of the project itself.

 



Jornada formativa FIREPOCTEP. Intercambio de buenas prácticas en desarrollo sostenible

’El objetivo principal del evento es analizar nuevas herramientas de innovación abierta sobre desarrollo sostenible para el estudio del impacto del cambio climático y el riesgo de incendios en la zona de la Raya (frontera entre España y Portugal). Para ello, se llevará a cabo intercambio de buenas prácticas que faciliten la gestión del riesgo en el territorio de cooperación mediante la capitalización de resultados y conocimientos. ''Jornada formativa FIREPOCTEP. Intercambio de buenas prácticas en desarrollo sostenible'', no sólo mejorará la cooperación y coordinación de los medios de extinción contra incendios, sino que servirá de ejemplo de buenas prácticas enfocadas a la protección y promoción del medio ambiente que, a su vez, permite la creación de empleo e innovación en el medio rural, apoyando la economía local y la conservación del paisaje. El evento también pretende formar y sensibilizar a la población rural permanente y ocasional sobre el riesgo de incendios forestales, las buenas prácticas preventivas y los recursos de autoprotección en caso de siniestro. Para ello, se llevarán a cabo sesiones formativas dirigidas a un público objetivo que faciliten la gestión del riesgo en el territorio de cooperación, así como la comunicación y difusión de los resultados del propio proyecto.
